    Question 2007 Yamaha FX HO

I am looking at a 2007 Yamaha FX HO, Black and Gold PWC

Questions for those who own them:

    How do you like it?
    Any problems that are inherent?
    Top speed of the craft?
    Ergonomics?
What features do you like or don't like
    Reliability?
Modifications, what how do you like the mods if any?

No offense, but you have a 80+ mph GPRXP conversion and you're looking at a naturally aspirated model? I can't really comment on the FX HO though. Never ridden one.

Wife and kids! What a great excuse to buy another ski.

    Excellent ski
    Problems - a bit slow
    58mph - 60 Mmmmm
    ?
    Perfect for waterskiing/wakeboarding
    Not as fast as hoped
    Perfect. Don't overfill with oil
Add any mod you like, or all of them for 60-63mph max

I love it and the mpg is second to none, but it's fat and slow

Handles good in the rough, all around great ski for the family. The one I have been riding has the DF 14/20, Riva grate and Riva plate which was a plus.

yeah, its a huge tradeoff, but the conversion is not my cup of tea. Built it, like it, not what I expected or really want right now.
don't get me wrong, its a fast freikin ski, but now my three girls are wanting to ride more and this ski is not comfortable for them or the wife and its too fast.

I am willing to trade it for an FX HO I am looking at or a lightly modded RXP. or stock RXP-X.

I still have the wifes RXP to piddle with if I want speed

I really wish I never took apart my 2004 RXP now to do this, but, I had fun building it and I am ready to move on. Gonna miss this hull when I do pat with it as I have had it since early 2002

I bought one for the wife and kids this winter. Fantastic in the rough water. Nice and quiet and the kids are not at all afraid of it.

Mine has the cruiser seat and a boarding step - great for water skiing and pulling the tube.

How does the storage compare to an RXP?
